Employee Profile: Tim Belczak

Tim is one of many Microsoft Certified Professionals on staff at Copeland Data Systems and works with many different technologies.  One day, he might be designing websites and the next day he is developing software for mobile phones, scanners, and other handheld devices.

His areas of expertise include Microsoft .NET programming, web scripting with ASP or PHP, and working with databases like Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and Microsoft Access.

Recently, he has been extending our customer's business systems with a third-party database driver which connects their website or mobile devices with real-time business data.  This provides a familiar Windows or HTML interface to their customers, distributors, or clients.

Tim and his wife Cheryl are avid Buffalo Sabres fans and live in Tonawanda with their son, Dax and a dog named Housley (yes, it's a Sabres reference).   They enjoy snowboarding and have tackled terrain in Colorado (Breckenridge, Vail, Keystone), Lake Tahoe (Heavenly, Squaw Valley, Kirkwood, Sierra at Tahoe), Wyoming (Jackson Hole, Grand Targhee), and Vermont (Killington), as well as smaller resorts in New York, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois.

Tim is also interested in homebrewing and country winemaking.  His favorite styles to create are IPA's, stouts, porters, and fruit-flavored beers.
